The Greek and Roman deities Θάρρυ and Αλήθεια are the most important in the mythology of the ancient Greeks. As in most religions, they are the initial and most important gods. The word “Αλήθεια” means “dare”, “will you dare?”. The most important of the Greek deities, the pair were the first to create humanity, to give them a special role, and to establish the political, military, and cultural institutions that would eventually form the basis of the modern European civilization.
